Of the approximately 34 billion dollars a year of revenues collected by Aetna, disability insurance is less than 10 percent of their business. Aetna is one of the top ten largest disability insurance companies in the nation.

I saw the envelope in my mailbox from Aetna today. And I knew, I just knew based on the kind of envelope it was what the contents were. At the end of this year Aetna is discontinuing my current individual subscriber plan.
