Fantastic service and food. We sat at the bar where the food was being made which was very cool. The star deal was amazing value for money and the face on a bao bun was a really fun touch to the meal!
Yuu Kitchen is a right gem of a place located on the Aldgate end of Commercial Street. I recommend taking a perch at the open kitchen bar to see the action unfold as the chefs create dishes crafted by Aussie duo Stephen Lowe previously of Icebar and Jon de Villa previously of Nobu. The food is very good and served on trendy small plates.

The restaurant gets crazy full in the evenings. This offer was for women only. The fish was all fresh and
This was our second trip to Yuu Kitchen and we left happy once again. Service continues to be excellent, staff are very friendly, informative, and attentive. Food is super tasty - the bistek, aubergine, and tofu bao were the stand-out dishes for me, and the coconut bread cake and banana turon with uber ice cream are delicious.
With some very funky interiors and plentiful outdoor seating — Yuu Kitchen has a lot going for it. With existing sites in Spitalfields and a residency at the Lady Hamilton Pub in Kentish Town, getting your daily fix of the Yuu Kitchen menu has never been easier. In the kitchen is head chef Jon de Villa who previously worked at the famous Nobu and Zafferano.

Yuu Kitchen is a new tapas style southeast Asian and Pacific Rim restaurant not far from the vibrancy of Spitalfields market. It sits amongst the hustle and bustle of Commercial St with an on-trend offer that should tick the boxes of the city workers who inhabit this part of town. The restaurant interior mixes manga-style graphics with the sort of bird cages you find at oriental markets. But the best view of the action is from the seated bar area where you are right on top of the chefs.
