We stayed one night here while on a trip west. It is a very well kept Corps of Engineers area with a beautiful lake for boating and swimming. The restrooms are also very nice.

For groups looking to camp together, the Sugar Bottom Campground offers a group camping area.

Coralville Reservoir is a 5,acre reservoir located north of Iowa City along the Iowa River valley. Several recreation areas managed by the U. Army Corps of Engineers offer access to the reservoir and the adjacent wooded bluffs. The upper flood basin of the reservoir, consisting of open water, wetlands, fields, and woodlands, is managed by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources as Hawkeye Wildlife Area.
